Last year - 2017, people were all about Millennial Pink - from clothes to shoes to bags to runway trends and beauty brands to dozens and dozens of Instagram feeds and and even used as background color for photo shoots, Millennial Pink was everywhere. But not anymore. There’s a new set of hues this 2018, and the next big thing is Gen Z Yellow and everyone seems to get the memo coz Millennial pink is so 2017.

The color is expected to cover everything from clothes, to accessories, to interior design in the coming months – in much the same way that pretty much everything was a rosy blush shade just a few months ago.

Celebrities, it-girls and influencers have slowly but surely been introducing us to a new “it” color of the year.

The now mother and famous American reality television personality, entrepreneur, socialite, and social media personality, Kylie Jenner showed her hot bod wearing sexy outfit with matching yellow sunnies.

Queen Riri who always slays in whatever color or style of clothes she wears.

Manila’s “It” girl Martine Cajucom has also served her fair share of Gen Z Yellow.

According to Elle Australia, Gen Z yellow is a “bright, bubbly, flirtatious yellow” that represents the new generation and it's supposed to capture the vibrant essence of the youngest generation. However, it’s not just limited to one particular shade. Man Repeller notes that it ranges “from buttercream to melted butter and beyond.”
